Panther Pride

McComb students continue to excel in extra-curricular opportunities.  McComb has rich tradition in athletics competing and placing at the state level several times.  McComb offers athletic opportunities all year long.  Students also participate in band, choir, theatre, and many club activities.  McComb students have strong sense of pride and continue to carry on traditions based on hard work, collaboration, and competitiveness.

Our Location

McComb Local School District is located in the northwest corner of Hancock County and southern Wood County.  The district consists of Blanchard, Jackson, Pleasant and Portage townships, and the villages of Hoytville and McComb. Our geographical area is just over 100 square miles and rank 130/615 in terms of largest sized districts.  McComb is just minutes west of Interstate 75 and Findlay. Parts of the district are home to the banks of the scenic Blanchard River.

Facilities

McComb Local School students are housed in the original 1923 building and two additions built in 1976 and 1998, respectively.  Classrooms and labs offer hands on learning and the exterior grounds provides agricultural opportunities for students to learn as well.  Completed in 2017, the football stadium has upgraded to new bleachers, sound system, press box.
